Day of the Dead 2023

In 2023, I had the honor of designing the poster for the annual Day of the Dead festival in London. The challenge was to seamlessly blend British and Mexican elements, so I included iconic imagery like Big Ben alongside traditional Day of the Dead symbols. At the center of the illustration is the elegant Catrina, surrounded by lively dancing skeletons that invite everyone to join the vibrant celebration. My illustration was crafted in my signature folk art style, using bold, vibrant hues and adorned with traditional cempazuchitl flowers, capturing the spirit of both cultures in a colorful and festive composition.
